This hands on role will require the Senior Financial Accountant to have strong experience in Oracle and in managing high volume Fixed Assets. This role will start off as a 12 month fixed term contract which could potentially go permanent.

Client Details

This global organisation based in Bella Vista is a market leader in the retail industry. What they are requiring is someone who can manage the Fixed Assets of the business as well as assist with the Oracle implementation. Interviews to start immediately.

Description

• Prepare month end processes including journal entries, reports, P&L statements, analysis reports and commentary
• Maintain high volume data for the Fixed Assets Register
• Balance sheet reconciliations including prepayments and accruals
• Assist with the Oracle Implementation using previous Oracle experience
• Manage one direct report in the Fixed Assets division, providing assistance where needed
• Prepare statutory and management reports
• Assist with GL coding
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Ensure intercompany accounts are reconciled accurately and reported

Profile

• Must have at least 4-5 years' experience in a financial accountant role
• Bachelor Degree in Accounting
• CPA/CA qualified (or partly)
• Experience with Oracle a must
• Highly knowledgeable about accounting standards - IFRS, SOX compliance
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

Job Offer
