A unique opportunity exists for a proven analyst to support, advise and partner with Senior Leaders of this rapidly growing, Australian based tech business. They are a value driven organisation where commitment and drive are paramount. This role will support their largest division with business-critical analysis, insight and reporting, to support effective decision making and ensure their continued growth. You will be at ease discussing, in-depth, business trends, financial models, the interpretation of data, complex analysis around business activities, contracts, operational and process improvement, revenue analyses, and profitability trends

Reporting through to the GM Finance, the focus here is to support the business with actionable commercial insights, reporting and all-round decision support. More specifically, you will be tasked with;
  

• Strategic Initiatives/M&A: identification and implementation of operating initiatives to improve business performance (including tracking & reporting); strategic projects that create value for the Group (innovation, special finance projects, M&A and integration support)
• Financial Planning: construction of budgets, owning the reforecast model, strategic plans and business cases, liquidity and covenant reporting, strategic development, M&A
• Analytics: Undertake analysis of commercial and operational performance to derive genuine insight; assess return on investment to support recommendations on capital expenditure and software development; be the finance representative in development of data warehouse and business intelligence tools to advance data analytics
• Business Partnership: Support all business functions in gaining financial understanding of their operations to drive the right decision making, financial and operational integration of acquisitions into the Group; Finance project work
• Build Relationships: Ability to build successful working relationships with people across all functions to get the job done

Your background should be from a Finance BA, Finance Analyst or Project background with proven experience in consumer, marketing or sales intensive entities. The role ideally will attract an individual who is tertiary qualified across finance, analytics, mathematics or economics.
