An immediate starting opportunity has been created for a hands-on individual to work directly with the CFO in delivering the Group’s finance function for a leading Liverpool based Construction and Development company.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Ongoing preparation and the timely delivery of the financial accounts for several entities.
- Compilation and oversight of the preparation of statutory accounts.
- Group FBT returns, BAS returns and compilation of tax return inputs.
- Administering statutory obligations.
- Processing of Payroll and Group management Fees.
- Assisting with Group Budgets, and cash flow forecasting.
- Implementing compliance processes and develop systems to enhance governance which promote integrity and transparency.
- Project work on an ad-hoc basis.
The successful applicant will ideally possess:
- A minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Sound technical knowledge in financial and management accounting.
- Ability to work autonomously and successfully implement ad-hoc projects.
- Self-awareness with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to foster relationships.
- Experience in Project ERP systems (Jobpac desirable), MYOB and strong Excel skills.
- A commitment to safety, demonstrating integrity and upholding the organisations values.
