The Company
Our client is a well-established figure within the Retail industry, who is looking for a motivated Accounts Clerk to join a team of 5 and report to the Financial Controller. The Role
Sitting in the Finance team, the role will involve key responsibilities such as:
- Completing income taxes for important clients
- Partnering with various stakeholders on decisions relating to the business
- Overseeing bookkeeping duties for stakeholders and businesses
- Complying with Fringe Benefits Tax when working with stakeholders
- Reviewing invoices for anomalies and reconciling account statements
Your Profile
The successful applicant will possess:
- At least 12 months experience in a Chartered environment
- The desire to progress within the Accounting profession
- The ability to conduct yourself with professionalism when interacting with stakeholders
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and taxation preferable as this role is largely taxation and compliance based
- A drive for new challenges and seeks progression
