An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Payroll Officer’s in the Human Resources and Payroll Services team. This role processes and takes responsibility for the completion of up to 25 client entity’s payroll requirements. As the outsourced payroll provider you are required to undertake all tasks necessary to meet client payroll needs and/or assist colleagues.

In order to be considered for the Payroll Officer role you will possess:

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a similar payroll role
• Experience in payroll processing for up to 50 employees
• Good working knowledge of payroll processes
• Experience with full function payroll process- desirable but not necessary
• Familiarity with:
  • Australian Taxation Office (ATO) Legislation as it pertains to payroll
  • Superannuation Legislation
  • Payroll legislation across Australian States and Territories
• Superior communications skills both verbal and written
• Good time management skills in order to meet deadlines
• Adaptable and able to respond in a positive and constructive manner
• Sound numeracy skills, Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Able to work under pressure
• Proven customer service experience
• Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
