Riviera, Australia's largest and most awarded luxury boat builder based at Coomera on the Gold Coast is looking for an experienced and energetic Payroll Officer to work within the Finance department.This is a newly created, ongoing casual position and would suit someone wanting a 2-3 day working week.

 

The Role

You will be responsible for providing a high level of payroll support to the Payroll Manager, with a focus on processing the weekly payroll of 180+ employees.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Payroll Manager across varied payroll tasks, including but not limited to:

- Weekly clock card processing into payroll software and timesheet reconciliations;

- New employee setups and termination calculations;

- Other payroll related processing, reconciliations and reporting;

- Administrative assistance to the payroll function;

- Filing

• Providing coverage for the Payroll Manager’s leave

 

Skills Required

You must have a good understanding of Payroll Software systems and can work in a timely manner and under pressure.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 2 years + payroll experience;

• Ability to interpret Awards/Agreements;

• Strong attention to detail;

• Strong customer service skills;

• Strong communication, time management and problem-solving skills;

• Intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel;

• Experience in D-Bit payroll software is ideal but not essential
