About the opportunity
In this role 6 month contract role, you will be responsible for Group reporting and validating lease information.
Key accountabilities of the role include:
- Perform accurate and timely preparation of BP Group results, which are reported locally and to London under IFRS.
- Perform accurate and timely preparation of the Australian statutory accounts for the BOP Group of companies in both Australia and NZ
- Undertake world class close reporting activities according to the global timetable
- Participate in and encourage teamwork and sharing of best practice within and across teamsTo be successful in the role you will have:
About you
- Tertiary degree qualification in an accounting related discipline
- Experience in verifying large volumes of data
- Experience in developing financial and non-financial reports for decision making by senior leaders
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders in order to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes, deal with ambiguity, navigate complexity and drive impactful outcomes
- Strong data manipulation and Excel skills
- High level problem solving experience and commercial awareness
