As part of this strong team looking after over 4500 employees you will provide generalist advice and guidance where necessary and ensure department outcomes are effectively met within the business by the provision of a confident, efficient and credible payroll service. As one of the first points of contact for all pay related queries within the Centre you will be highly organised with well developed communication skills and a friendly nature. You will work closely with the team to ensure wages are processed accurately & in accordance with set deadlines. The documents and information the Payroll Officer handles are confidential so it is essential that all payroll records are maintained, controlled, released and archived in accordance with company policy.
To be successful in the role you will have several years of payroll experience and current knowledge of relevant awards, agreements and related legislation. Experience in Micropay Meridian would be a distinct advantage and you must be available to start asap!. This role is will allow you to develop on existing skills while challenging you in various ways.
