Currently seeking a Payroll Compliance Officer to start on a 12 month fixed term contract, based in Chatswood.
Your new company
This well-known company based in Chatswood is looking for a Payroll Compliance officer to join this their company on a 12 month fixed term contract role to manage and support the business by managing the financial controls directly relating to Payroll Legislation and Policy.
Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Payroll, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for providing a reliable, robust and accurate Compliance approach for Payroll.
- Assist the Head of Payroll in the design, implementation and monitoring of systems and processes to ensure compliance of the Payroll function.
- Provide expert advice and analysis on legislative issues that will impact current and future processes in relation to Payroll.
- Provide assistance in Payroll trouble shotting compliance issues.
- Maintain, develop and manage a framework of controls for the wages payment process and pro-actively test and monitor.
- Management and motivation of team while developing their knowledge by providing appropriate coaching, training and experience to maximise performance.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have previous experience in managing a team. Have experience in dealing with payroll legislation in particular, PAYG, Payroll Tax, Superannuation along with third party deductions. You will also need to have excellent attention to detail, strong communication and the ability to deal with multiple stakeholders within the business.
What you'll get in return
This is an exciting opportunity working on a 12 month fixed term contract based in Chatswood. This role is paying $90,000 - $95,000 + Super.
