Due to an internal move, an opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join our Australian Building business. In this busy and varied role reporting to the Senior Finance Manager NSW your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating management reporting deliverables for a large portfolio of projects;
- Working with conversion and operational teams to ensure accurate forecasting and to deliver upon financial targets. Attending project reviews will be a key part of achieving this;
- Implementing robust financial controls throughout the entire project lifecycle and over functional cost centres;
- Providing commercial insights to management and operational teams;
- Being passionate about driving improvement across the business, its systems and processes;
- Guiding and mentoring more junior members of the Finance team.
The role will also see you drive engagement and communication through the stakeholders of different components of the NSW business and across the broader Building finance teams and Financial Services.
Critical to success in this role will be your ability to partner closely with the varied stakeholders to ensure positive business outcomes as well as your demonstrated analytical capabilities. You will have strong technical skills gained within a large, complex environment with related tertiary qualifications coupled with CA/CPA status. With strong commercial acumen, you will have a result focused approach with the ability to work well under pressure. You will thrive in a team based environment and be comfortable being a self-starter who can work independently with a high level of initiative.
