Our Client
Located in the Sydney CBD, our client is a market-leading international corporate. They seek a talented Tax Advisor to join their high profile and sizeable in-house tax team, on a permanent basis. Working in a team of successful and experienced tax experts you will provide a variety of tax services to the business covering both tax compliance and advisory matters, that will cover a breadth of areas including corporate, indirect and international tax.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of both consolidated and standalone income tax returns;
- Preparation of tax effect accounting calculations;
- Preparation and lodgement of FBT returns;
- Undertaking research on tax issues in connection with tax compliance process as well as various aspects of tax planning and restructuring;
- Assist in advising management of new or proposed tax legislation and rulings;
- Provision of ad-hoc tax advice to business units (indirect, corporate, international tax) as requested;
- Liaison with the ATO and Office of State Revenue.
Requirements
- The successful tax professional will have strong Australian corporate tax technical skills and experience gained working with or in large multinational corporates;
- CA, CPA, or Masters of Tax qualified (Part Qualified also considered);
- At least 3 years corporate tax experience gained in a Big 4 and/or large corporate;
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills;
- Able to build strong relationships at all levels within the organisation.
