With a thriving brand and exemplary reputation, this high profile organisation continues to increase market share through organic growth and as such are looking to recruit a Commercial Analyst to support senior business stakeholders
Description
This role is responsible for providing financial support to the Commercial Finance Manager, including analysis and forecasting of all facets of the business, encompassing management and KPI reporting, forecasting, financial control and commercial decision support. The core duties of the role are;
- Manage the commercial aspects of annual budgeting processes
- Prepare and provide accurate reporting and analysis on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis
- Work closely with the Marketing team on identifying risks and opportunities, as well as tracking strategic promotional initiatives
- Responsibility for the preparation of business cases
- Analysis and management of Margin and Mix targets within the Sales and Marketing teams
- Take control of ad-hoc projects for sales, marketing and operations managers
Profile
- CA/CPA Qualified in addition to a relevant tertiary degree level qualification
- 3+ years’ post graduate experience with emphasis on planning, budgeting, analysis, performance evaluation, forecasting and costing
- Ability to effectively utilise spreadsheet applications and modelling tools
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to effectively communicate key insights and recommendations
- Ability to review high volume information output for accuracy and plausibility, detecting and reconciling anomalies quickly
