About the role: 

The Accountant Intern is responsible for general accounting, internal control including journal entry preparation and posting, intercompany process, month-end closing activities, all balance sheet and other account reconciliation activities, internal and external reporting, cash flow management and other adhoc responsibilities. 

Education / Training:

  • Currently attaining a bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA/CA qualification.

Experience:

  • Intermediate understanding of US GAAP.
  • Advanced skills in using Microsoft Office suite (Advanced Excel skills a must).

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Shared service experience.
  • Problem solving and resolution skills..
  • Previous use of Oracle, SAGE and PRONTO system software (One or more ideal).
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Unquestionable ethics and integrity with a high degree of transparency and trust.
  • Relentless in achieving results, in a dynamic, changing, and demanding environment.
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual thinking, and ‘Can Do’ problem solving skills.
  • Clear and effective oral and written communication skills.

The role is classified as Part Time, 10 hours per week.
