We are looking for a well rounded Senior Bookkeeper / Accountant to work in this fast paced commercial builder.

Your New Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, and with 1 direct report, your role will be responsible for the main Bookkeeping functions including:

• Full-function Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable 
• Payroll for the business including: PAYG, Superannuation, payroll reports, employee set-up and file maintenance
• Weekly cash flow reports
• Assisting Directors to produce monthly board reports
• Statutory compliance including BAS, IAS and Payroll Tax 
• Oversight of one junior finance assistant
• Ad hoc duties 

What You'll Need to Succeed
In order to be considered for this role we are looking for individuals with demonstrated experience in project or time-based billings (construction/building, architecture, engineering, project management)
- at least 5 years' experience in a similar role
- software knowledge of Xero or MYOB ideal
- strong excel skills
