Purpose of the role
A fantastic opportunity currently exists for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our national Financial Services team. Your role involves servicing the partnership by processing all Firm and Disbursement payments via cheque, EFT, Visa and third party foreign currency.
Job description
Your responsibilities include:
- Analysis of vouchers for payments
- Compliance and delegation of authority checks
- General ledger and matter number verification
- Reviewing daily workflows and open processes to ensure vouchers are processed
- Providing support for data entry of vendor invoices and credit notes as required
- Processing payments of cheques, Visa, foreign currency and electronic funds transfers
- Reconciliation of various accounts
- Responding to internal and external enquiries
- Other duties as required
More about you
We welcome applications from people with:
- 2-3 years Accounts Payable experience, demonstrating strong working knowledge of financial processes in a professional services environment
- Experience using and supporting a Practice Management System, preferably Elite 3e
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment
