Your new company
Our client is a Government organisation with offices dotted across the Southside of Brisbane. They require a management accountant to help bring in the new financial year, assisting with reporting & general ad hoc duties.
Your new role
The role will be focused on year-end management accounting duties & will include:
- Analysis of profit & loss statements
- KPI reporting
- Analysis of actual performance against predicted budgets
- Formulation of budgets for the upcoming financial year
- Variance analysis
- Leading a small finance team
What you'll need to succeed
- CA/CPA qualification
- Prior experience leading a small finance team
- Advanced excel skills
- Experience compiling budgets on a large scale (listed organisation) is advantageous
What you'll get in return
The successful candidate will be offered an hourly rate of $40 for this short-term assignment. Initially a 3 month contract, the successful candidate may be extended to 6 months depending on performance outcomes.
