This growing Sunshine Coast firm is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join their close-knit accounting team. Working directly with the Partner, you will be responsible for building strong business relationships with your clients. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Preparation of Financial Statements, Tax Returns, BAS, IAS, Payment Summary Statements and other requirements
• Management of internal workflow
• Management of client base across a variety of industries
• Identify compliance concerns and opportunities as they arise
• Ability to research and provide advice on technical matters

The candidate must be organised, have excellent communication skills, high attention to detail and provide a high level of accuracy. The right candidate will contribute positively to our business, enjoy working in a team environment and have the ability to multitask, plan and solve problems as they arise.

• CA/CPA qualified or working towards
• Proven experience working as a Public Accounting Practice in Australia
• Able to work with a client on all compliance and business services matters with minimal supervision
• Experience using MYOB, Xero, BankLink, Reckon, Class & BGL
• SMSF experience is a bonus!
