The Role & Company
Working within an Accounts team of 7, you will be responsible for duties including GST, Workers Compensation and Payroll checks and the timely & accurate payment of suppliers and contractors. As an intelligent, switched on and driven Accounts Payable Officer, you will be looking to expand your horizons by working with an Employer of Choice. You will have strong communication skills as your role will involve regular telephone work speaking with Subcontractors in regards to issue of payment and invoice queries and you will have an analytical mind where you can make judgement on certain invoices. Working in a fast-paced environment, the team and management have a supportive and inclusive culture. Accuracy and speed will be 2 aspects you pride yourself on as you deal with up to 30 Invoices per day which affect overall business performance.

Qualifications & Experience
- You will have a minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar role
- A tertiary qualification within the Accounting sphere is essential
- Those who have worked in more Senior roles overseas and are looking to gain experience with a good company in Sydney will be encouraged to apply
- Perhaps you have worked for a smaller company and wish to test yourself in a larger, successful company
- Your communication skills will be a key strength
- You will have an analytical mind whilst able to work efficiently and accurately at all times
- Any experience of working with Jobpac will be viewed favourably though is by no means essential
