The overall purpose of this role is to provide financial analysis to the company's key executives and operations.

Reporting to the Head of Group FP&A, and joining a skilled FP&A team of seven, you will work closely with Business Unitss and FP&A team to ensure accuracy in month end reports, budgeting and forecasting. Ad hoc analysis will also be required on projects (acquisitions, new business streams, performance improvement, weekly KPIs).

Responsibilities

  • Establish strong working relationships across the organisation at various levels
  • Assist in the development & maintain reporting BI system for weekly scorecard & KPIs (ZAP)
  • Maintaining accuracy and completeness of weekly and monthly reporting (knowledge of TM1 or JEDOX an advantage)
  • Provide analysis into financial performance monitoring (weekly scorecard, month end, budgeting and forecasting)
  • Liaison with Commercial Managers and other stakeholders to obtain the necessary information for preparation of results and resolving any queries relating to financial reporting
  • Identify and escalate financial reporting systems issues 

Requirements

  • 1-4 years’ experience
  • Industry experience not vital, first mover from Professional Services welcome
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or equivalent, CA or CPA an advantage
  • Ability to demonstrate a comprehensive finance knowledge and understand main accounting postings
  • Agile mindset and able to prioritise work effectively
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Skilled user in excel (big data an advantage)
  • Great attention to detail
  • Able to work autonomously under broad direction
  • Strong desire to learn and grow with the business to reach further heights in the organisation over the medium term
