Role Overview
Reporting to the Corporate Finance Manager, this FP&A Analyst will partner with stakeholders across the business to provide commercial and analytical support in relation to the group’s business performance and future growth strategies.
The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for providing timely and accurate financial analysis and operational recommendations to the Business Unit and Leadership team. In addition, they will work closely with Finance stakeholders in providing standardised management reporting packs and process improvements for the Group. On a day to day basis, this FP&A Analyst will be responsible for the preparation of weekly and monthly management reports summarising operating results. From a corporate perspective your work will extend to assisting the senior management team in coordinating and preparing annual budgets, the 12-months rolling forecasts and strategic planning. From a reporting perspective this FP&A Analyst will be responsible for the preparation of the monthly P&L and Balance sheet results for their Business Unit.
This is in essence an ALDI head office planning, forecasting and reporting role with a strong commercial analytical focus. Hence, your responsibilities will extend to the development and oversight of an accurate and effective KPI metrics and dashboards, performance frameworks including development of consistent Excel based tools to assist management in making informed decisions on customer profitability and financial returns. Hence, the successful FP&A Analyst that will accept this role will have to have exceptional rapport building skills and display the ability to internally influence management decision making with their analytical capabilities. Initially, this will be an 18 month FTC as the business builds its FP&A capability.
Candidate Profile
You are a CA/CPA qualified, Business Analyst or have FP&A experience with group level commercial analysis experience and have used the SAP BPC tool. You have the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels and your ability to build relationships has been integral to your success to date. Your verbal and written communication skills are one of your key strengths as part of the role includes presentation of results to stakeholders across the business.
