About the Firm
A well-established & progressive Accounting firm located in the Brisbane CBD is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join their growing team.

Consisting of 3 Partners & 22 staff, the firm works with a variety of SME businesses across various industry sectors. Their portfolio has been built on referral networks from existing clients and is growing rapidly creating a steady workflow. 

The team has a range of experience within the Accounting industry, fostering a supportive and collaborative office environment. 
The firm prides itself on providing employees with a work/life balance and an open-door policy which has resulted in a low staff turnover. 

About the Role
This dynamic position will allow the successful applicant to be a respected and important part of their growing team.

You will be required to assist the clients directly with all aspects of accounting. 
Some of your duties will be across the following

• Preparing financial statements for large private companies and their related entities
• Undertaking research into Complex Tax issues, such GST, CGT, Div7a & PAYG
• Tax Planning and advisory work for clients
• Liaise directly with clients via phone & email

You will manage a small portfolio of clients, which is aimed at preparing you for further future development into a Senior Accountant or Supervisor role.
In the role, there will be an open-door access to Partners who will help you develop your knowledge and skills for continual success.

About You
In order to successful in this position, we are seeking a self-motivated intermediate accountant with:

• 2+ Years Accounting Practice Experience
• CA or CPA Qualifications; alternatively the successful applicant  will be working to achieve this
• Excellent Communication Skills/ Interpersonal Skills
• Passion for delivering quality service to clients
• Passion for future career development
