The Company
A fantastic opportunity to work within a leading manufacturing organisation. Due to an internal promotion they need to employ a qualified Financial Accountant to work in their head office situated in the Western suburbs. The role has a specific focus on Financial Reporting and complex reconciliations and offers broader progression opportunities for high performers.
  
The Role
Reporting into the Finance Manager and sitting within a high performing team you will take ownership of the full financial accounting process. Responsibilities in this role include:

• Month end will be a key part of you role as well as producing a monthly reporting back for senior leadership.
• Working with the Senior Financial Accountant at year end to ensure statutory reporting is accurate and timely.
• Overseeing reconciliations, fixed assets and general ledger procedures.
• Building key stakeholder relationships with other departments inside and outside of finance, particularly with the FP&A team.
• Acting as a key point of contact for auditors

  
Profile
You will be a CA/CPA (International Equivalent) technically strong Accountant, with 3+ years working in a similar role. The role will require an individual who has the ability to work autonomously amongst a high performing accounts team. You must be a career driven individual that is looking for a challenging role that can ultimately take your career to the next level. 
  
As this is a temporary contract you must be immediately available or have a maximum notice period of 1 week. Candidates in a permanent role with a 4 week notice period will not be considered.
