An outstanding opportunity has presented itself for an experienced Management Accountant within the manufacturing industry. The management accountant forms an integral part of the finance team for the business by covering both the standard site accountant’s duties, as well as being directly engaged in the commercial decision making processes.
Your Key responsibilities will include:
• Preparation of monthly reports including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Monitoring of monthly performance and KPI’s
• Ledger maintenance to ensure all accounts are reconciled monthly
• Debtors, creditors, inventory and fixed assets ledger maintenance
• Preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts
• Analyse current reporting practices and recommend changes
• Analyse budget and actual and identify trends for building forward projections
• Assist in preparing annual statutory accounts
• Preparing tax compliance requirements including BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax and FBT
• Controlling cash flow management process and
• Supervising staff within the finance team
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following:
• You will have CA/CPA qualifications, preferably with sound business experience.
• Strong analytical skills
• Standard costing experience
• Microsoft Dynamics NAV (preferable)
• Proven experience in changing processes to achieve desired outcomes.
• strong attention to detail
• excellent written and verbal communication skills
