This opportunity sits within a distinguished bank as part of Financial Operations in their Finance Systems & Control team. This role will help to support the global finance systems to the GL and manage the finance reconciliations. This role will also enhance the migration of finance reporting and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Influence key decision making to drive changes for systems processes through PeopleSoft
• Drive the support system related tasks with design, planning, implementations, strategy, testing and other system control functions
• Maintain the customer GL mapping and identify the processing of data through performing daily system checks and validations
• Provide project support and drive process improvements
• Identify, monitor and improve controls to mitigate risks
• Business partner with key senior stakeholders when necessary

Profile:

• Degree in Technology, Accounting/Finance or equivalent
• CA or CPA qualified
• 5+ years' experience in similar role
• Experience using PeopleSoft is ideal
• Knowledge using Teradata and Essbase cubes is ideal
• Background within the Financial Services industry is a plus
• Excellent communication and business partnering skills
• Critical thinker, analytical and attention to detail
• Self-starter who is proactive and ambitious
