About the Role:
You will bring your commercial focus to clients and the proactive team. You will work with the Audit Manager and be responsible for planning audit engagements, supervising junior staff and ensuring outcomes exceed internal quality and Australian Audit Standards.
Duties:
- Liaise with clients to understand and deliver on client needs including audit requirements and accounting queries
- Supervise, coach and review the work of junior auditors
- Preparation of job budgets for audit engagements
- Document audit completion procedures
- Draft letters and reports to the audit committee/board of directors
- Review /prepare statutory financial statements prepared under IFRS and relevant regulations
- Prepare the audit opinion over the financial statements under applicable regulations
Skills & Experience:
- 3 years experience in a similar role
- Soon to complete or completed CA or CPA qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Established assurance/audit skills and an understanding of audit techniques and methods
