About the Work

The role offers a good balance of compliance and consulting work, as well as a varied client base and the opportunity to learn from various Partners/Directors, eventually moving up within the organisation. Bringing a strong mix of soft skills and technical knowledge, your new role will also include:
 

• Leading, training and mentoring junior staff within the team
• Build on strong relationships with existing clients, as well as identifying new areas of opportunity for the business
• Tax Advisory across a variety of challenging and complex issues
• Complex Tax Compliance
• Involvement in ATO controversy matters for complex tax issues
• Working with a diverse client base, with a focus on the SME space

 
About You
 
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills & attributes:
 

• A real passion for tax and genuine desire to further your career in the industry
• CA/CPA or relevant qualifications in Tax and/or Law
• Generalist  tax experience in a public practice/professional services environment, with exposure to a diverse client base
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders/clients
• Immaculate attention to detail, as well as good analytical and critical thinking skills
• Self-motivated, driven team player
