We have an opportunity for an experienced Contract Administrator | Cost Controller to join the Asset Services division team based in Gladstone.
 
The Contract Administrator | Cost Controller position is to lead the Contract Administration and Cost Control activities for Shutdowns in accordance with Company policies and procedures during shutdown preparation, pre- shutdown, execution and post shutdown.
 
Key Responsibilities:  
  • Provide leadership to Site Administrators in completion of timesheet process, employee payroll
  • Ensure billing requests in SAP and generation of invoices are completed in a timely manner
  • Support and provide cost data to the Finance Manager for month end reporting
  • Assist the Shutdown Manager to develop the Final Project Plan pricing and estimate based on planned resource profiles, historical data and actual contract information
  • Development of shutdown cost reports
  • Coordinate and collect data to ensure all budget and progress data is current and timely for weekly/daily cost reporting
  • Daily productivity reports to be reviewed with Planner and Site Management team so any inefficiencies are addressed and resolved
  • Participate in regular client meetings as required to resolve issues and improve process
  • Produce cost reporting as defined by the Contract Manager

 

Key Requirements: 

  • 5 years’ experience in a Cost Control/Contracts Administration position across a shutdown environment
  • Able to build estimates using contractual, subcontract and equipment rates
  • Demonstrated experience in building and reporting on complex cost spread sheets for shutdown reporting
  • Experience working with Projects & Operations & Maintenance contracts
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing at all levels
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Ability to follow instructions, work to deadlines and prioritise workload
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
