Mars Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Senior Bookkeeper on behalf of a boutique professional services firm, based in the inner city metro.
This position offers excellent work/life balance, great internal support and also the opportunity to work on a diverse range of clients.
Role:
Eventually this role will become a management position and you will be required to head up the whole bookkeeping team at this firm. You will be responsible for payroll, payroll tax, superannuation payments, accounts payable and receivable, BAS preparation and lodgement, bank reconciliations and assisting with general administrative tasks, for a range of medium to large clients.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years' experience in a bookkeeping role within an accounting firm (I.e. providing bookkeeing services to a range of clients)
- Experience with MYOB, Xero and Microsoft Office
- Full Australian working rights
PLEASE NOTE - This role is only open to candidates who have a background in public practice. Bookkeepers who have only worked within a commercial environment will unfortunately not be considered.
