We are looking for a Graduate Accountant to join our expanding three Partner Accountancy Practice; centrally located near Malvern station.
We offer the opportunity for the successful candidate to work in a team under the supervision of a competent manager. As a Graduate Accountant/Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for the following:
- Preparation of Personal Income Tax Returns
- Assisting Senior Accountants with the preparation of company and trust Tax Returns
- Payroll and general bookkeeping
- Indirect Taxation - GST, Payroll Tax, Super, BAS/IAS lodgements
The graduate role provides significant opportunities to develop experience in the areas of accounting, taxation and superannuation.

To successfully secure this role the applicant must possess the following qualities:
- Degree qualified in a Bachelor of Commerce (or other relevant field)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The view to undertake CPA/CA studies
Highly developed computer skills are essential, with experience in Solution 6/Viztopia, MYOB, Xero, Quickbooks and other cloud based accounting packages desirable. Experience in a paperless office is also advantageous.
Salary negotiable (based on experience); in addition, discretionary individual performance based bonuses are paid.
