About the role
We have an opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join the Dan Murphy's Finance team to partner with the merchandising team. Reporting to the Finance Planning & Reporting Manager, you will play a critical role in the business by providing analysis, insight and recommendations to drive the business to achieve its goals.
This role is based in our Alphington support office.
In this role, you will be responsible for

Partner with the merchandise team and broader Dan Murphy’s business to drive successful business outcomes

Analysis of business drivers, profitability and returns in key categories and areas of investment

Identifying potential risks and opportunities and partnering with the business to mitigate/promote these

Drive business initiatives/campaigns to completion using strong project management principles

Enhance business reporting and analysis tools to deliver reliable and accurate information and insights

Champion a culture of continuous improvement

Demonstrating insight and knowledge of the market and key drivers in the industry and potential impact to the business
About you
• Previous experience in a Finance Business Partner position in a large listed business
• Finance related degree and CA/CPA qualified
• Strong communication skills, stakeholder management and relationship building skills
• Ability to take complex financial information and present it in a simple and concise manner
• Strong systems experience (SAP) and advanced excel/modelling skills
