Contract Resources continues to grow and set new standards and as a result we are currently looking for an experienced Cost Controller to join our team in Jandakot, Perth commencing immediately.  You will provide a lead role within our offshore division, focussing on supporting the Project Managers with their objectives whilst driving commercial performance optimisation and cost control for the division.
 
Role Responsibilities and Duties 

  • Ensure relevant contracts and jobs are set up fully in required electronic systems enabling timely invoicing, cost monitoring and control (Budget vs Actuals)
  • Ensure timesheet (human resources and assets) and invoice accuracy
  • Identify recurring non-recoverable costs and report to manager
  • Coordinate client timesheet submission
  • Monitor and liaise with PM’s to ensure invoicing meets monthly deadlines
  • Submission of completed invoices to internal accounts department
  • Review and monitor estimate rates and pricing adherence to contract rates and schedules
  • Track and report on labour recovery costs
  • Run project costs report prior to preparation of final invoices
  • Maintain client historical scopes databased
  • Review estimates prior to submission to ensure compliance with contract and relevant schedules
  • Maintain and update the Client E-catalogue
  • Review and submit invoices
  • Assist with administration, data entry workforce planning during major shut downs and projects
  • Assist workforce planning with client ticketing and distribution of travel itineraries
  • Place material and consumable orders to assist workshop during high activity periods
  • Assist with payroll entry as required
Your ability to manipulate data via use of Excel and spreadsheets will be essential to this role as is experience using accounting / finance systems. 
 
This is an urgent recruit so it is preferred that you are available to start immediately or upon short notice and will be willing to undergo a pre employment medical.
