Hellyer Gold Mine subsidiary of NQ Minerals is recruiting a Revenue Accountant based on the North-West Coast. Hellyer Gold Mine will be a flagship project for NQ Minerals, with a forecast 10-year mine life. This is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark by managing the Company’s sales and providing Accounting support at Hellyer Gold Mine near Burnie, Tasmania.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Revenue Accountant will ensure accurate Revenue Accounting and provide assistance in both financial and management reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate administration of all sales and logistics of concentrate sales in accordance to established contracts.
- Appropriately account all key conditions of Revenue in accordance to Accounting Standards.
- Playing a key role in month end close process and the provision of both year end and month end reporting.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
- Preparation of Cost Variance explanations in conjunction with Business Unit Managers.
- Cash Forecasting | Rolling & Re-Forecasting.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Ad hoc projects as required.
Key Requirements:
- Degree qualified (finance or accounting)
- Attention to detail
- Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) Designation (or working towards)
