About the company
Our client are a large logistics business located close to Sydney CBD who are recruiting for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to an important arm of their business. This role is a stand alone position partnering on a number of projects utilising your business partnering skills and adding real strategic financial analysis to the organisation.
About the role
Our client is looking for a personable candidate with the capability to build strong strategic business cases going forward. This role has long term business succession planning and can offer the chosen candidate the opportunity to look at investment opportunities on behalf of our client.
Your core duties will be:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly performance reports
- Prepare and analysis the budgets and forecasts for all products. Monitor and report on progress throughout the year.
- Analyse the overall trend analysis for products and concisely articulate key findings
- Provide business partnering to GMs and Sales Leads
- Ensure rigour and understanding of month end and month estimates processes and results
- Ensure all initiatives are incorporated and tracked on a monthly basis.
- Insightful value adding commentary on monthly and quarterly forecasting results

About you:
- Big 4 Qualified with experience working in Transactional Services
- Extensive commercial skills ideally in FP&A or Commercial Analysis
- Excellent communication skills, translating financial data for internal stakeholders
- Excellent Excel, and financial modelling skills
- Graduate Degree
- Knowledge of JDE, TM1 and advanced Excel preferred

You will be coming from the logistics/infrastructure/manufacturing space
