About the business and the role
Our company is a Tyre and Wheel multi-site retail group with our Store support centre located in Dandenong. We are currently seeking a resourceful and experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our passionate and driven team in on a permanent full-time basis to start immediately.
Job tasks and responsibilities
- Timely and accurate processing of creditor invoices and tenacity to followup issues
- Receipt allocations and processing of payments
- Reconciling creditor statements
- Liaising with suppliers and sales staff to assist with their enquiries
- Following up stock queries
- Assist with the monitoring of stock levels
- Other ad hoc tasks
- Bank reconciliations
Essential Skills and Experience
- At least 5 years' experience in an accounts payable role
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills...Must have fabulous English
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a co-operative team
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
