Commercial Analyst required for FMCG company in Geelong, permanent full time opportunity.

Your new role
They are seeking a Commercial Analyst to support the Sales team to drive performance and support various Managers (Finance, Sales and Revenue Management) across numerous areas of the business including trade spend management, pricing and business review processes. You will assist with the month end management around budgeting and forecasting and business partner with the sales team with accruals processing for trade spend. You will provide support to the sales team in driving efficiencies in their spend ensuring accurate reporting at month and year end. Additional duties will include preparing pricing and promotion analysis and insights to assist with price setting and supporting the sales team with key decisions to deliver and meet targets.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be CA/CPA qualified and have recent experience in a similar role and have a solid understanding of trade spend and how the trade spend process works. You will have strong numerical and analytical skills with Advanced Excel including model building. Experience using SAP will be advantageous.
