About the opportunity

In this role, you will partner with your business units and be accountable for the provision and delivery of monthly contribution reports, analysis and forecasting and providing commercial recommendations.

Key accountabilities

  • Provide assurance over the month-end / period end close procedures and actuals, including accruals and prepayments review, monthly journal review and required postings and P&L & Balance Sheet Review.
  • Undertake and perform the capture, analysis and near term reporting of financial outcomes including risk and variances in accordance with financial and control policies
  • Influence and contribute to key projects to support key initiatives
  • Support the provision of commercial insights in line with business plan/objectives/strategy and suggest value add initiatives as part of a CI Culture
  • Participate in the collation and delivery of the business plan in a simple and efficient way, while still meeting business requirements for accountabilities at appropriate levels of the organisation
  • Provide monthly P&L review and commentary and review in-line with budget forecast and seasonality.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a financial reporting role in a large corporate

Other key attributes of the role include:

  • Commercial acumen, strong judgment and decision making skills
  • High level of analytical skills and strength in attention to detail
  • Strong communication, relationship building and networking skills
  • Experience using SAP and strong Excel ability.
  • Degree level qualification in accounting/business and CPA or CA qualified or studying towards
