The Roles:
We are seeking Senior Accountants for our clients' Business Services team and Audit team.
As a Senior member in their Business Service Team, some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Driving the completion of compliance work by preparing:
- Financial statements
- Income tax returns and schedules
- Business and Instalment Activity statements
- Preparing management accounts to review stage
- Assisting in the analysis of client performance for end of year tax planning
- Discussing the results of financial statements with managers and partners to highlight areas for improvement
For the Senior Accountant working in the audit team, some of the responsibilities include:
- Driving the completion of interim and final audit
- Preparing and updating audit memorandums
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements
- Running medium jobs and planning the audit approach
To be successful you will need to have:
- Completion of an of an Accounting or Commerce undergraduate or post graduate degree
- Part or full completion of CA or CPA accreditation
- Strong knowledge of the Australian legislation including the Australian Accounting Standards and Australian Auditing
- Strong skill level in accounting software packages including MYOB, Quickbooks
