This global asset management business is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to sit within their Finance Team and support key decision makers within the business.

Our client is a leading global alternative asset manager. Their investments include one of the largest portfolios of properties in the world as well as infrastructure, transport, energy and communications businesses.
Description
The Senior Tax Accountant will sit within the Finance Team and be responsible for:
- Preparation of quarterly tax calculations
- Preparation of tax related journals
- Preparation of half yearly and yearly tax effect accounting for statutory purposes
- Assisting with the development of best practice tax effect accounting processes for consolidated tax group
- Assist with identifying areas for process improvement and systems development
- Completion of tax calculations, schedules and packages for submission to global
- Assisting in the preparation of Board reports
- Ensuring compliance with SOX at group level for relevant controls and testing
- Building key relationships with other global offices to aid with the global consolidation and reporting
Profile
The successful applicant:
- CA qualified
- 5+ years experience in a similar commercial role
- Possesses sound knowledge of AIFRS
- Possesses advanced computer skills preferably having experience with MRI and HFM
- Has experience in tax reporting
- Experience within funds management or property will be highly regarded
