Opportunity:
A rare opportunity to join a wonderful firm located in the Eastern suburbs as an accountant. You will be a resource across all Partners. This 5 Partner, 60 staff, Public Practice, located in the inner city East, have the chance for an accountant to join their amazing working environment. The culture can be described as friendly and collaborative and promotes technical development.

The role:

• You will assist in managing client relationships and be a resource for all Partners.
• You will be trusted with servicing clients on compliance and advisory issues. For this, you will have a strong understanding of tax and the tax system. You will be capable of preparing financial statements, BAS, Tax Returns and working papers. The focus in on compliance but you will have ample client facing opportunities.
• You will be allocated non-chargeable hours for training and development.
• You will work on client files that consist of groups of 17+ trading entities, plus other passive, holding and investment entities.

Other requirements:

• Qualified or part qualified CA/CPA.
• 1-2 years of experience in Business Services in Australia.
• Big 4 or Mid Tier experience ideal but not essential.
• Experience with MYOB, Xero, APS or other software.
• Professional with a proactive attitude.
