Your new company
Our client is a well known, ASX listed telecommunications company. They have large offices situated close to public transportation and offer an excellent work, life balance. Due to some internal changes, they are looking to bring in a payroll officer on a 12 month fixed term contract to sit within their large payroll team.
Your new role
You will be working within a team of three and reporting to the payroll team lead. You will be responsible for:
- Processing the payroll for 2,000+ permanent and casual staff or a fortnightly basis
- Coordinating with other payroll teams in regards to tax and reporting
- Calculating leave
- Termination payments
- Reconciliations
- Ensuring compliance
- Ad hoc duties
What you'll need to succeed
Our client is looking for someone collaborative, accurate and able to work in a busy, changing environment. You will have experience with high volume (1,000+) payroll processing and have exposure to a large payroll system (preferably Oracle). You will have excellent communication skills and unrestricted working rights in Australia.
