The Company

Based in the CBD, our client an ASX-listed technology business with a need to take on an ambitious Junior Accounts Payable professional. An innovative and rapidly growing company with a strong presence in the U.S, they place a great emphasis on building a positive business culture and the career development of their employees.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Senior Accountant, you will be an important member of a small and high performing finance team. Working in an Accounts Payable Officer role, your key duties will include but will not be limited to: 

- End to end accounts payable function  
- Handling Accounts Payable queries 
- Managing creditor relationships 
- Managing any escalated issues  
- Identifying and implementing process improvements 
- Reconciliations   
- Providing back up to Accounts Receivable 
- Ad hoc tasks as required 

The Candidate   
 
With a relevant business degree, the successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working in an Accounts Payable role and be looking to commence their CA or CPA. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you will be capable of building strong working relationships with stakeholders both inside and outside the business. The successful candidate will be highly organised and will take the initiative to problem solve independently.
