Financial Analyst- Listed Financial Services Organisation- 3 Month Contract

Hudson are currently working with a rapidly expanding, reputable financial services organisations in the recruitment of a financial analyst for a 3 month contract based in the heart of Sydney's CBD. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with previous management accounting and detailed financial analysis experience. You will work alongside the senior level stakeholders on a regular basis and have the opportunity to work on key change projects.
The Role
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Analysis of monthly management accounts and reporting to business on monthly management accounts
- Support the preparation of annual budget and re-forecasts
- Assisting with other tasks as required
- Provide assistance to Financial Accounting team when required
- Ad Hoc Reporting & Analysis to support senior leadership
- Detailed financial modelling
About You:
- Excellent business partnering and stakeholder engagement skills
- Accounting qualification (CA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA/ICAA)
- Immediate availability
- Previous experience within a financial services organisation (desired)
