Due to an internal promotion, they are now seeking a Senior Finance candidate with a specialisation across Supply Chain finance to join their team. Description
Reporting to the Finance Director, this role is a key member of the senior management team and has a dual reporting line to the General Manager Supply Chain, key duties include;
- Provide financial analytical support for key decision making and cost management.
- Work with Distribution Centre Managers and other key stakeholders providing support on all commercial and finance decision making
- Change agent- champion process and system improvement in order to improve data generation and in turn daily operation more efficient and effective.
- Monitor and review capital expenditure plan of the company and ensure spends are within budget and appropriately approved by the required level of management.
- Embed strong financial controls and compliance and review process relating to Supply Chain Finance
- Collect and review the information of production process such as costs, volume and depreciation.
- Oversight of senior analysts and the Procurement team.
Profile
The successful applicant will be CA/CPA qualified and have proven Supply Chain experience in the Manufacturing, Retail or FMCG sector. You will have exceptional communication skills and a demonstrated ability to partner with a broad stakeholder group to deliver commercial insight and analysis. Advanced Excel skills and the ability to identify growth opportunities will ensure you are successful in this role. Strong planning and organisational skills are mandatory, as is a flexible and practical approach with a ‘can do’ attitude and with a customer focus. Your ability to communicate and work with people at all levels, and drive process improvements will be critical to your success.
