The Role
Our client is a highly reputable multinational business and they are looking to hire an Assistant Tax Manager to help out during a busy period for the next 5 months. If you are looking for a fast paced, dynamic & collaborative team environment where you can make an impact then this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Reporting to the tax manager the role is responsible for preparing all statutory Tax forms and tax compliance obligations for the business. You will also provide internal customers tax financial assistance and have opportunity to represent the organisations outside parties like creditors, tax & government authorities.
Main Duties
- Preparing consolidation income tax
- Preparing schedules to accompany the consolidation income tax return, including the international dealing schedule
- Reporting on Employee Share Schemes
- Reviewing fringe benefit tax returns for a medium to large organisation.
- Providing taxation knowledge and ad-hoc taxation advice to internal and external stakeholders
Preferable Skills
- Tax/Accounting Qualifications
- Experience working within a similar role at a Multinational business
- Hands on experience preparing company FBT, GST and tax returns
- Experience with SAP is essential and OneSource corporate tax or equivalent
- Experience with R&D tax credit
- Very strong taxation knowledge and experience in ad-hoc taxation advice
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
$63-$68 per Hour + Super
