Client

My client is a Government Department who serve the community by providing safe utilities to more than five million people across Sydney, looking after the health of our natural environment.

They have a great opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join the team on an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities:

• Payroll Project Work
• Work out underpayments
• Manage queries from current and terminated staff members
• Liaise with internal and terminated staff members
• Organise payments
• Ensure legislative requirements are maintained
• Ensure accuracy and timely processing

 
Key Skills:

• Strong experience of working on various payroll projects
• Proven experience in Payroll software (Aurion or equivalent)
• Sound understanding of Superannuation legislation
• Able to calculate and process payments
• Sound understanding of payroll and superannuation legislation.
• Advanced Microsoft office skills – Excel
