THE POSITION

Due to growth within the firm, we are seeking a Senior Accountant / Manager for our Dungog office. Reporting directly to one of the firm’s Partners, the position will manage an existing client base and supervise an experienced team of accountants and bookkeepers.

The duties and responsibilities of this position include:

  • Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns
  • Tax planning and structuring
  • Providing business advisory services
  • Reviewing work from other team members
  • Contributing to the development of client’s businesses and also the firm
  • Attractive salary package with relocation assistance available if required for the right person

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Degree qualified with at least 3 years experience managing a team and a client base in a similar role.
  • CA/CPA qualifications
  • Experience in APS, Xero and  the MYOB suite is desirable
  • Strong history of building relationships with clients and team members
  • Organised, practical and thorough with hands on experience managing workflow
  • Able to work autonomously and also within a team
  • Committed, self-motivated with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy a must
