This Senior Tax Consultant role is a complex tax advisory role. A recent restructure has seen the team shift from a business services and taxation mix to purely tax consulting. Now, all the specialist tax advice feeds through to this team. You will not be involved in any compliance work.
The work is a mix of middle market corporates and listed entities. The interesting thing about these clients is that you will be exposed to overseas tax issues and complicated scenarios including R&D and Transfer Pricing.
You’ll be fully supported in your technical development of these issues by working with an ex big-4 Partner and being paired up with a mentor. You’ll also receive full CA support (if not already complete), both financial and within your peer group and support for the Masters of Tax down the track.
This Top 50 firm often bids against the big-4 and have developed a strong reputation on delivering high-quality tax advice. Recent growth of the Tax Advisory team has seen many employees fast-track their progression to keep up with the growing nature of the firm. You’ll be given the same opportunity as they continue to bolster their team.
For this Senior Tax Consultant role, we are seeking 3+ years’ experience along with commencement of CA. Salary from $70,000 to $90,000.
