Exciting opportunity for a high performing Management Accountant to join an industry leading logistics company in a value add role.
Client Details
This transport company are known for their ability to provide timely and efficient delivery of customer goods, and are looking to provide this service well into the future. Their significant growth has meant that there is now an opportunity for a Management Accountant to join their team.
Description
You will use your extensive Management Accounting experience to provide on time management & financial information to the management team. You will be integral member of the accounting team, responsible for all facets of the accounting and financial functions. You will use your excellent communication skills to liaise with both Senior Finance stakeholders as well as the operational side of the business effectively.
- Preparation of management reports
- Reconciliation and maintenance of fixed assets and other ledger accounts as required.
- Review client proposals / agreements and ensure invoicing is in accordance with the agreed terms and conditions
- Preparation of monthly reporting, including actual results, variations from budget, full year forecast results and KPI reports
- Building budgets and forecasts
- Engaging with operational managers to evaluate commercial decisions
- Review and analysis of Profit and Loss statements
- Analysis of the performance of each division, beyond the numbers
Profile
To succeed in this role you will be CA/CPA qualified, you will be an ambitious, well communicated and organised individual with previous exposure working in the transport or logistics industry an advantage. You must have strong attention to detail and be comfortable working within strict deadlines. You will be able to show longevity with one employer. Advanced excel skills are a must along with SAP or large ERP experience to shine in this highly rewarding and challenging role.
