Junior Financial Analyst

The Opportunity 
 
The Business Analyst team provides reporting, financial planning & analysis for RFG’s executive, business leaders and group reporting, and is committed to improve business performance through partnership with RFG’s business leaders.  A new role has been created for an ambitious analyst to join our team and assist with data extraction, reporting and analysis and improve our reporting across the business. 
  
Key tasks

• Assisting in Monthly Management reporting, financial analysis and commentary
• Extracting, compiling and analysing data from a range of systems
• Reconcile transactions, compare and correct data
• Prepare ad-hoc analysis and conduct ad-hoc research as required by the business
• Continually develop and improve reporting processes to increase reporting efficiencies
• Conducting ad-hoc research and analysis for specialist requests
• Assist the Business Analyst and Accounting team on core internal reporting requirements as required
• Assist the Analyst team with preparation of financial models

You will have the following attributes

• Completed a university degree in Business, Commerce or related discipline
• Advanced MS Excel skills, and exposure to a wide range of ERPs. Experience in TM1, Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics AX or NAV would be advantageous.
• Experience in working with large/complex datasets is essential
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
• The ability to succeed in a fast paced deadline driven culture
