As a trusted advisor to the General Manager/Directors, the ideal candidate will possess the requisite knowledge to undertake the following matters:

  • Support compliance efforts with respect to the Company’s control environment by:
    • Understanding Company’s control environment to document/map processes and controls.
    • Initiating and leading projects in relation to processes and controls standardization.
  • Process and Controls Mapping to create the Controls Matrix.
  • Develop internal control procedures across multiple accounting and company secretarial functions.
  • Ensure all client records adhere to internal standards
  • Perform control testing to assess the operational effectiveness of internal control procedures.
  • Generate monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Monitor own tasks and progress on workload against deadlines.

You will be working directly with the General Manager and Internal Accountant as well reporting to the firm’s Directors. You will develop strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the business.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated and to be successful in this role we expect you will have:

  • Degree qualified. Preference for Accounting/Financial although other qualifications will be considered.
  • Minimum 2 years’ Internal Audit/control experience.
  • Exposure to process analysis and documentation/mapping of processes and controls
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Assertive and confident, team player
  • Effective time management skills
  • Exceptional communication skills and an ability to communicate at various levels within the organisation and external bodies
  • Strong commitment to confidentiality, producing quality work, professionalism, literacy, grammar and punctuality.
